When it comes to getting Invisalign treatment you might be wondering if it matters where you go. After all, Invisalign is Invisalign, right? Not necessarily. While the Invisalign system is the same no matter where you go, the experience and results you’ll get can vary depending on the provider you choose. Here’s what you need to know to make an informed decision.

The Importance of Reviewing an Orthodontist’s Work

Orthodontists are specialists in moving teeth and aligning jaws. In addition to dental school they receive 2-3 years of training exclusively in orthodontics.
Orthodontists are uniquely qualified in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of orthodontic problems. They dedicate their professional lives to creating healthy, beautiful smiles in children, teens and adults.

When it comes to choosing an orthodontist for Invisalign treatment, one of the most important things you can do is review their previous work. This will give you a good idea of their skills and expertise. A great way to do this is by checking out before-and-after photos. This will give you a good sense of the type of results they’re able to achieve. You can also ask the orthodontist for referrals so you can speak with past patients about their experience.

Another important thing to consider is an orthodontist’s experience. Ideally, you’ll want to choose an orthodontist who has completed an extensive amount of cases with Invisalign. This means they’ve experienced all the ups and downs from previous cases and can apply their expertise to ensure your treatment goes as successfully as possible. Furthermore, experienced orthodontists will be up-to-date on the latest advancements in Invisalign treatment so you can be confident you’re getting the best possible care.
